We're just a short couple of weeks and 28% away from the BFA website opening its doors and welcoming our members who've stuck with us for the first year of our initiative to the next phase of our life. This will include a membership feature for you, an ability to connect more closely and form relationships with each other and a platform for you to promote your Crowdfunding campaigns, projects and careers.
It's tougher times than ever, for producers, actors and filmmakers across the board and we want to encourage everyone who's losing heart to never stop believing. Instead of putting your dreams to rest - dream bigger!
Cinema cannot exist without extraordinary minds. And none of us are born with a dream without also being given the power to make that dream a reality. Many have been laughed at, ridiculed, knocked down. But all that matters is that every time that happens you get back up. For if you get up one more time than you fall, you will make it through.
The greats of cinema and legendary films aren't made up of the minds and imaginations of those who think small. We all have a duty to step outside the box, in our approach, with our talent and with the fearless determination that will carry us through. There are always rough storms before the calm smooth seas and sometimes the greatest opportunities are disguised as the toughest of problems. But they who do can only come from they who dare. And it's the hardy mariner that faces the storm that gets to see new shores.
